CABC Announces Additions to its Advisory Board

WASHINGTON, DC, August 4, 2020 – Today the Canadian American Business Council announced additions to its distinguished Advisory Board. CABC Advisory Board members provide key insights and guidance to the Board of Directors, committees of the Board, and the executive leadership. The new members joining today are:

Rona Ambrose, Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada (2015 – 2017)
John Baird, Minister of Foreign Affairs (2011 – 2015)
Christy Clark, Premier of British Columbia (2011 – 2017)
Howard Dean, Governor of Vermont (1991 – 2003), Presidential candidate (2004) 
Pamela Goldsmith-Jones, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (2015 – 2019) 
Ron Kirk, United States Trade Representative (2009 – 2013)
John Manley, Deputy Prime Minister (2002 – 2003) 
Sergio Marchi, Minister of International Trade (1997 – 1999)
James Moore, Minister of Industry (2013 – 2015)
Bill Owens, U.S. House Representative (2009 – 2015)
Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport (2013 – 2015) 
Brad Wall, Premier of Saskatchewan (2007 – 2018) 

The CABC Advisory Board was historically principally composed of former US and Canadian Ambassadors.  “The decision to expand the membership of this distinguished group is a reflection of the importance of the Canada/US relationship as it enters a new era in the wake of the global pandemic and new North American trade agreement,” said Maryscott Greenwood, CEO of the CABC.

“The expertise of each individual member of our Advisory Board coupled with the collective voice of the Council will heighten the dialogue on Canada-US relations, contributing meaningfully to helping ensure that the US and Canada face the world’s challenges together.”  

These new members will join the existing members of the Advisory Board:
